Man, I love the preview picture. I was looking for something related to two hearts and bam, this shows up first. It's perfect. It shows his hearts AND it's Matt, which is who I intended it to be. But of course, for you hardcore Tennant or Eccleston fans, you can pretend they're looking for Rose, and Rory is Mickey. And if you dare, you can pretend they're looking for Sarah Jane. Though I made no jelly baby references. I do not own that preview picture. Definitely not. Credit goes to the amazing artist that did that. I tip my hat to you, sir or madam...or Time Lord/Lady.

Speaking of that, would you like a jelly baby? You've read this far, I believe you deserve one.

The idea was derived from my interpretation of a line from Curse of the Fatal Death (a Doctor Who parody with Rowan Atkinson, Jonathon Pryce, Hugh Grant, and Joanna Lumley). The second (in this one story) regenerate of the Doctor asks his companion, Emma: "These old hearts are still yours. Can you still love me?" Then I was like "huh, what if the Doctor promised his hearts to a girl like that?" Thus this cute little fiction was born.

I do not own Doctor Who nor Rory or Amy, nor Curse of the Fatal Death, but I do own Emily Jacobson. And I wrote this.

I don't think people understand sibling love anymore. I don't know why. People just don't get it anymore. Though Emily's relationship with John is very similar to my relationship with my sister. But we're not adopted, we're blood sisters, and we do look somewhat alike. I do love her though, very much.

And I really hope Rory doesn't crash the TARDIS.
